Carony on trial at retirement home

26 septembre 2016

During the summer of 2016, a local retirement home borrowed one of our Carony transfer wheelchairs for evaluation. The response we got was overwhelming.

At the retirement home Höjdenhemmet, in our home municipality Lerum, they take their residents very seriously. Two activity coordinators ensure that the residents are activated on a daily basis playing floor ball and bowling, take part in dancing and make both long and short field trips.

However coordinating the field trips for their wheelchair users usually come at high price in terms of spontaneity. Mobility services must be booked in advance both to and from the destination, leaving little room for last minute changes or consideration for the resident's daily condition. Could the Carony change this?

Listen and see the comments from both personnel and residents in the video below.
