1990
Adaptation company Beram AB established.
5 employees.
1996
The company comes under new ownership and changes its name to Autoadapt AB.
1998
Investment company the 6th National Swedish Pension Fund becomes a partner. 20 employees.
1999
Autoadapt acquires BEV Euroaid AB and changes
its name to Autoadapt-BEV AB, combined we
have 45 employees.
1999
Autoadapt together with Volvo Special Vehicles receive the "Best Product for the Disabled" award. The award was presented at the Royal Palace in Stockholm by Queen Silvia.
2000
Autoadapt starts export sales of in house
developed and manufactured products.
55 employees.
2002
Autoadapt establishes the subsidiary,
Autoadapt UK, in the United Kingdom.
4 employees.
2003
The 6th National Swedish Pension Fund leaves
the company as a partner and in comes Bruno Independent Living from USA.
2003
Autoadapt-BEV AB receives the
"Growth Company 2002 in Västra Götaland"
award.
2004
Autoadapt-BEV AB currently sells products to
over one hundred dealers in over 30 countries around the world. 87 employees.
Autoadapt-BEV AB changes its name
back to Autoadapt AB.
2005
Autoadapt starts up the lean production system
CIA (Continuous Improvement of Autoadapt).
The concept intends to increase customer
value and create growth while improving
resource efficiency to ensure long-term
success of Autoadapt and its
dealers.
